Spanish soccer player Jenni Hermoso has accused Luis Rubiales, the now-suspended president of the Spanish soccer federation, of sexual assault after he kissed her without her consent during the medal ceremony of the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 Final match. Rubiales has since been suspended from his role and Hermoso has filed a complaint with the country's prosecutors' office.
