U.S. and Iran sign memorandum to end war

The United States and Iran have electronically signed a memorandum intended to halt the war and launch 60 days of talks toward a final agreement. The document includes sanctions relief, nuclear commitments, Strait of Hormuz provisions and a proposed $300 billion reconstruction plan for Iran.

Iran claims Gulf attacks after new U.S. strikes

Iran said it attacked U.S.-linked bases in Bahrain and Kuwait and hit two vessels in the Strait of Hormuz after renewed U.S. strikes inside Iran. The escalation comes as negotiations remain stalled over sanctions, frozen assets, uranium stockpiles and fighting involving Israel and Hezbollah.
