The US Justice Department has charged 34 officers of the Chinese national police with operating an illegal police station in New York City to intimidate and silence dissidents. On Saturday, families of those killed in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing gathered to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the tragedy.
