A woman who was identified by an ex-romantic partner to the FBI after she was seen wearing a pink beret at the U.S Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, was charged with four federal counts on Monday.

The FBI Washington Field Office tweeted two images of the woman, asking anyone who recognized her to contact the FBI. The woman’s attire led many on social media to compare her to a character out of a Wes Anderson film.

The woman, Jennifer Inzunza Vargas Geller of California, now faces four misdemeanor counts: entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building; disorderly conduct in the Capitol grounds or buildings; and unlawfully parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.

The FBI has been actively seeking out individuals who participated in the Jan. 6 insurrection and has asked for the public’s help in identifying those involved. The FBI has also released a series of Wanted Posters featuring individuals who are wanted in connection with the Capitol riots.

The FBI has not released any further information on the charges against Geller, and it is unclear what penalties she may face. However, the FBI has made it clear that they are committed to holding those responsible for the Jan. 6 insurrection accountable.
