At an emergency summit held in Cairo, Arab nations, led by Egypt, have presented a $53 billion reconstruction plan for the Gaza Strip. This proposal comes in response to a controversial suggestion by former U.S. President Donald Trump, which involved the U.S. taking control of the Gaza Strip and displacing its over 2 million Palestinian residents to transform the area into a luxury real estate development.
