Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) Makes Headlines After Introducing Girlfriend Mindy Noce at Republican Debate

Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) made headlines on Wednesday night when he publicly introduced his girlfriend, Mindy Noce, after the Republican debate. Noce, an interior designer and mother of three living in the Charleston, South Carolina, area, was seen posing with Scott on stage after the debate.

Scott’s unmarried status had reportedly been a source of concern for potential Republican donors, and the senator had previously withheld Noce’s identity and kept her out of the public eye on the campaign trail. When asked about Noce in the spin room afterward, Scott said she was “a great friend” and “a great person.”

The campaign later confirmed that Noce was the blond woman who joined Scott on stage for a picture after the debate. The viral moment came after months of secrecy surrounding their relationship.

The Republican debate also featured Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, among others. With the third debate now in the books, the Republican 2024 candidates are looking ahead to the next stage of the campaign.
