Registered Sex Offender Linked to Moms for Liberty, Raising Questions About Group’s Legitimacy

Moms for Liberty, a "parental rights" group, has been labeled an extremist group due to its efforts to censor books and discussions about race and gender in schools. However, a recent investigation has revealed that Phillip Fisher Jr., a pastor and faith-based outreach leader for the group’s local chapter in Philadelphia, is a registered sex offender. This has caused many to question the group’s motives and intentions, and it remains to be seen whether the group will be able to continue its efforts to influence local school boards or if it will be forced to disband.

Suspect Identified in Murder of Philadelphia Journalist and Activist Josh Kruger

Philadelphia Police have identified Robert Edmond Davis, 19, as the suspect in the murder of journalist and activist Josh Kruger. An arrest warrant has been issued for Davis, which includes charges of murder and related offenses. Lt. Hamilton Marshmond thanked the public and Kruger's family and friends for providing information and assisting the police department in the investigation. Kruger's death has been a shock to the Philadelphia community, and a vigil was held to remember him.

No arrest has been made yet, but authorities are asking anyone with information to contact them. Kruger was a beloved journalist who covered homelessness and LGBTQ+ issues and will be deeply missed.
