Missing Woman’s Remains Found 12 Years After Disappearance in Florida Retention Pond

After 12 years of searching, the remains of Sandra Lemire were found in a minivan submerged in a retention pond in Kissimmee, Florida. The volunteer search and recovery team Sunshine State Sonar used new technology to locate the vehicle, which had been involved in a car accident. Lemire's family is relieved to have closure and is asking for privacy as they grieve.

Two OPD Officers Critically Injured in Shootout with Suspect During Traffic Stop

On Saturday morning, the Orlando Police Department held a press conference to announce that two of their officers had been shot and critically injured during a traffic stop the night before. The suspect, Dayton Viel, was located at a Holiday Inn and was shot multiple times by SWAT officers. The two officers were taken to a local hospital and are in critical condition, and the identities of the officers have not yet been released.

Tragic Domestic Violence Incident in Orlando, Florida Leaves Three Dead, Including Young Child

Early Sunday morning in Orlando, Florida, a domestic violence incident resulted in the death of three people, including a young child. The suspect came out of the house and fired shots at the officers, who returned fire, resulting in the suspect's death. Two officers were unharmed, but the three victims were fatally shot. The Orlando Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
