Alicia Navarro, an 18-year-old from Glendale, Arizona, was reported missing in 2019 and has now been found safe in Montana. She walked into a police station to clear her name off the missing children's list and said "No, no one hurt me" when asked if anyone had hurt her. The Glendale Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances of her disappearance and is asking for anyone with information to contact them.

After Six-Year Search, Illinois Man Reunited with Daughter Featured on Netflix’s “Unsolved Mysteries
Illinois man Ryan Iskerka was reunited with his daughter Kayla Unbehaun on Saturday, six years after she vanished in July 2017. The reunion came after an employee of a used clothing shop in North Carolina recognized the mother and daughter from an episode of “Unsolved Mysteries” and called police. Iskerka is still processing the end of his yearslong nightmare, and his priority is to make sure that Kayla is OK.
After six years of searching, 15-year-old Kayla Unbehaun has been found safe in Asheville, North Carolina. The circumstances of Kayla's disappearance and her mother's whereabouts are still unknown, but the case serves as a reminder of the importance of raising awareness about missing children and the power of the public to help bring them home.
On April 6th, a missing child alert was issued for two Florida girls, Jade Gregory, 12, and Khloe Larsen, 14, who had stolen Gregory's father's car and were believed to be traveling on Interstate 10 toward Louisiana. Fortunately, the girls were found the same day in Bayou La Batre, Alabama and the Union County Sheriff's Office is reminding parents to be aware of their children's online activities.
Prince George's County Police Department has arrested 47-year-old Patrick Wojahn, former mayor of College Park, Maryland, on 56 counts of possession and distribution of child pornography. The investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified the police department of a social media account distributing suspected child pornography. Wojahn, who had been mayor since 2013 and a member of the Maryland House of Delegates from 2007 to 2015, resigned from his position the same day. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the department's Child and Vulnerable Adult Unit.
James Gordon Meek, a former investigative journalist for ABC News, was arrested and charged with transporting images depicting the sexual abuse of children. If convicted, Meek could face a mandatory minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 20 years behind bars. The investigation began in March 2021 when Dropbox filed a tip with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
