At least one person has been confirmed dead and three others are critically injured after a shooting outside of a funeral home in northeastern Washington, D.C. on Tuesday. Preliminary evidence suggests that the shooting was not random and investigators are still collecting evidence from the scene. The three injured individuals were taken to a local hospital for treatment and the Metropolitan Police Department is asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact them.

The Walshe family of Massachusetts is at the center of a missing person investigation involving Ana Walshe, a 39-year-old mother of three. Brian Walshe, Ana's husband, was arrested on a charge of misleading investigators. A 2014 Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department report revealed Brian had threatened Ana and her friends eight years ago, but the case was closed due to the victim's refusal to cooperate. Police are still searching for Ana and are asking anyone with information to contact the Cohasset Police Department.
