John Drake Jr., the estranged son of Nashville's police chief, was found dead Tuesday night from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after a four day manhunt. He was wanted in connection with the shooting of two officers outside a Dollar General store in La Vergne, TN on Saturday. Nicolas Kerdiles, a former NHL player, died in a motorcycle accident in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday. The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating the crash and no charges are anticipated. The hockey community has expressed an outpouring of grief for Kerdiles and his family and friends.
