The Trump administration filed an appeal after a federal judge ordered President Trump’s name removed from the Kennedy Center. The board also voted to seek a stay of the ruling, which said only Congress can change the venue’s name.
President Trump signed the Secure America Act, a nearly $70 billion package funding ICE, Customs and Border Protection and other Homeland Security operations through the rest of his presidency. The bill passed narrowly after months of Democratic opposition and internal Republican disputes.
