Ja Morant, guard for the Memphis Grizzlies, is facing disciplinary action from the NBA after a video surfaced of him holding what appeared to be a gun at a nightclub in Denver, Colorado. The Grizzlies have announced that Morant will be away from the team for at least two games while the NBA investigates the incident. Morant has issued an apology and is taking time away to get help.

Chick-fil-A is launching its first plant-based entrée, a breaded cauliflower sandwich, in select restaurants in Denver, Charleston, and Greensboro. The sandwich is inspired by the chain's original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, but uses breaded and pressure-cooked cauliflower in place of meat. The chain is monitoring customer feedback from the test locations to determine whether the sandwich will be added to its permanent menu.
North Texas travelers experienced hundreds of flight cancellations and delays on Monday due to cold, wet weather and a chance of freezing rain. Dallas Love Field and Dallas Fort Worth International Airports saw 30% and 15% of flights canceled respectively, while dozens of flights were also canceled in Denver and Austin. Southwest Airlines, based in Dallas, is still recovering from an operations meltdown over the summer and travelers are advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport.
