A man in his 40s from Olympia has been arrested on first-degree murder and kidnapping charges in connection with the disappearance of a local couple last week. The suspect was one of multiple tenants living on a rental property owned by the couple and worked for one of them in lieu of rent. Authorities have described the circumstances surrounding their disappearance as suspicious and do not believe the couple survived the attack.

The Thurston County Sheriff's Office in Washington state is searching for a married couple who mysteriously disappeared this week in suspicious circumstances. Karen A.
