A Ukrainian drone attack killed one person and damaged a sea terminal in Russia’s Krasnodar region, Russian officials said. Ukraine’s SBU said it targeted the Tamanneftegaz terminal and pledged to keep striking Russia’s oil and gas sector.

Putin said he sees “no point” in meeting Zelenskyy for now, rejecting Ukraine’s call for direct talks and a ceasefire. Zelenskyy said Russia was “choosing war again” as attacks continued across Ukraine and the Sea of Azov.
Ukraine said it hit five vessels it accused of carrying stolen grain and military cargo, while confirming one of its maritime drones exploded near Romania’s Constanta port. The Romanian incident prompted warnings about the war’s spillover along NATO’s eastern flank.
The House approved new Ukraine aid and Russia sanctions after Democrats and a small group of Republicans used a discharge petition to bypass GOP leaders. The measure now faces an uncertain path in the Senate and would need President Donald Trump’s signature to become law.
