Two adults were killed and a child was injured in a shooting at the Chico branch of the Butte County Library. Police arrested 18-year-old Bradley Scott Sayer and said he appeared intent on carrying out a Columbine-type attack.

A shooting at a house party in Chico, California, early Saturday morning left one 17-year-old girl dead and five other people wounded. Police believe the incident was isolated, and two men and the 17-year-old girl remain hospitalized in stable condition. The identities of the victims have not yet been released as police continue to investigate the tragedy.
