His colleagues from the show confirmed the news on Tuesday, noting that he was an advocate for better mental health and substance use treatment. Christopher appeared in over a thousand episodes of “General Hospital” and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2000. He also had roles in the films “The Mask of Zorro” and “The Scorpion King.”
