Suspect Arrested in Fatal Stabbing of Technology Executive Bob Lee in San Francisco

San Francisco police have arrested a suspect in the fatal stabbing of tech executive Bob Lee. The arrest was made in the Bay Area city of Emeryville and was announced by the city's Board of Supervisors President Matt Dorsey. Lee's death has been met with shock and sadness from many in the tech world and beyond, and the arrest of a suspect brings some closure to the tragedy.

San Francisco Board of Supervisors Unanimously Accepts Draft Plan for Reparations for Black Residents

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors has unanimously accepted a draft plan by a panel proposing reparations for Black residents, which includes a one-time payment of $5 million to each eligible Black resident, the elimination of personal debt and tax burdens, guaranteed annual incomes of at least $97,000 for 250 years, and homes in San Francisco for just $1 a family. The plan has met with some pushback from politically liberal San Franciscans, but the Board of Supervisors will meet again in September to discuss the issue.
