San Francisco Tech Executive Bob Lee Fatally Stabbed in City’s Rincon Hill Neighborhood

Bob Lee, a tech executive and founder of Cash App and former chief technology officer of Square, was fatally stabbed in San Francisco's Rincon Hill neighborhood on Tuesday morning. MobileCoin, the cryptocurrency startup he was currently serving as chief product officer for, issued a statement confirming his death. The San Francisco Police Department is currently investigating the incident, and the tech community has expressed shock and sadness at the loss of a well-respected figure.

Iranian People Protest 44th Anniversary of Islamic Revolution, President Raisi Appeals to “Deceived Youth

On Saturday, Iran celebrated the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution with nationwide protests and heightened tensions with the West. During President Ebrahim Raisi's speech at Tehran's Azadi Square, a group of anti-government hackers known as “Edalate Ali (Justice of Ali)” interrupted the event, with a voice shouting “Death to the dictator”. Raisi responded by appealing to the “deceived youth” to repent and be pardoned by Iran’s supreme leader. The protests began in September and have continued to grow, raising questions about how the government will respond.
