An Arkansas judge dismissed a second-degree murder charge against sheriff candidate Aaron Spencer, who fatally shot a man accused of sexually abusing his daughter. The judge ruled that mishandled dashboard camera evidence impaired Spencer’s right to a fair trial.
President Donald Trump issued a full pardon to Stephen Buyer, a former Indiana Republican congressman convicted of insider trading. Buyer served nearly two years in prison and has maintained he was innocent.
