Thousands of people took to the streets of France on Saturday night to protest President Emmanuel Macron's plan to raise the state pension age without a parliamentary vote. The largely non-violent protests included clashes with police and the throwing of an effigy of Macron into a fountain. Municipal authorities have banned rallies on Paris’s central Place de la Concorde and nearby Champ-Elysees, but it is unclear how long the protests will continue.

Pennsylvania State Police Seize Items from Home of Bryan Kohberger, Charged with Stabbing Deaths of Four University of Idaho Students

Pennsylvania State Police have seized a variety of items from the home of Bryan Kohberger, the graduate student charged with the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students. A buccal swab DNA test was also authorized, and the search warrant return did not specify whom the gloves belonged to. The search of Kohberger's parents' home in Albrightsville was conducted on December 30th, 2020, and Kohberger is currently being held in the Kootenai County Jail in Idaho, facing four counts of first-degree murder and four counts of aggravated battery.

Chiefs Secure Super Bowl LVII Berth with Thrilling 23-20 Victory Over Bengals in AFC Championship Game

The Kansas City Chiefs are headed to Super Bowl LVII after a thrilling 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship game. The game-winning kick was set up by a 15-yard penalty on the Bengals' Joseph Ossai for shoving Patrick Mahomes after he was out of bounds. Mahomes, who suffered a high ankle sprain last week, was able to lead the team to a victory and will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, the first matchup of Black starting quarterbacks in the Super Bowl.

Eagles Soar to Super Bowl LVII with Dominant 31-7 Win Over 49ers

The Philadelphia Eagles have advanced to Super Bowl LVII after a dominant 31-7 win over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts led the way with one of the team's four rushing touchdowns, while the 49ers were left without two of their quarterbacks due to injuries. The Eagles will now face the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, in what is sure to be an exciting matchup, while the 49ers will have to regroup and prepare for next season.
