Legendary Third Baseman Brooks Robinson Passes Away at 83

Brooks Robinson, an 18-time All-Star and legendary third baseman for the Baltimore Orioles, has passed away at the age of 83. He was signed by the Orioles in 1955 and went on to become one of the most decorated players in the history of the game, winning 16 consecutive Gold Glove Awards and making 18 All-Star appearances. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983 and his number 5 jersey was retired by the Orioles in 1977. Robinson is survived by his wife, three children, and six grandchildren and will be remembered as one of the greatest players in Orioles history.

Cecily Aguilar, 24, was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Monday for her role in disposing of the body of U.S. soldier Vanessa Guillén.
