U.S. Park Police have arrested Benjamin Robertson, 33, of Washington, D.C. in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash near the National Mall earlier this month. The driver of a Honda Accord fled from Secret Service officers and ran a red light, striking and killing a 75-year-old Philadelphia man who was in a crosswalk. Robertson has been charged with second-degree murder and the investigation is ongoing.

British Billionaire Joe Lewis Indicted in U.S. on Charges of Insider Trading

Joe Lewis, the British billionaire and owner of the Tottenham Hotspur soccer team, has been indicted in the U.S. on charges of insider trading. U.S. Attorney Damian Williams alleges that Lewis had schemed for years to abuse his access to corporate boardrooms and provided inside information to his inner circle. The SEC is seeking to recover more than $50 million in illegal profits, plus interest and penalties, and Lewis could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Secret Service Officers Hospitalized After Multiple Incidents Involving President Joe Biden’s Dog Commander

Emails obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that President Joe Biden's dog Commander bit multiple Secret Service officers on multiple occasions between October 2022 and January 2023. The emails document 10 incidents, including one where an officer had to go to the hospital, and suggest that the Secret Service had been dealing with the dog’s aggressive behavior for several months. The White House has not yet commented on the emails, and it is unclear what, if any, disciplinary action has been taken against Commander.

Amie Adamson, a 48-year-old woman from Derby, Kansas, was killed in a grizzly bear attack near the Montana-Idaho border on Saturday. Wildlife workers have been setting bear traps in an effort to capture the grizzly bear responsible, and the Buttermilk Trail has been closed to the public while the investigation is ongoing. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is asking anyone who may have seen the bear to contact them.

She was a two-time All-SEC selection and two-time All-Defensive team selection for the Lady Tigers and was remembered by the university as a “standout basketball player” and a “big part of the women’s basketball family.” The Memphis Police Department is still investigating the incident.
