Emergency responders were dispatched to an address associated with Sen. Mitch McConnell for an “unconscious” person and possible “cardiac arrest” the morning his office said he had been hospitalized. McConnell’s office has not disclosed why he was admitted or whether he remains hospitalized.
A federal judge blocked a USPS proposal that would have allowed the agency to refuse delivery of some mail-in ballots if states did not meet new requirements. The ruling sides with the NAACP and marks another court setback for President Donald Trump’s mail voting restrictions.
Victor Willis, the original lead singer and co-founder of Village People, has died at 74 after what the band called a short but aggressive illness. Willis was the voice and co-writer behind disco hits including “YMCA,” “Go West” and “In The Navy.”
