Trial Begins in Brighton, Colorado Over Death of Elijah McClain After Police Confrontation

Former Marine and Trump Supporter Pleads Guilty to Disorderly Conduct in Connection with Capitol Riot

Ray Epps, a former Marine and Trump supporter, has pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct in connection with the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021. Despite a widespread conspiracy theory that he was a federal agent, Epps has now admitted that he was a part of the mob and will face a sentencing hearing on Dec. 19.

The Authors Guild is representing the authors, arguing that OpenAI's use of their works without permission is a violation of copyright law. The authors are hoping for a resolution that will protect their works from being used without permission and for OpenAI to pay damages for the alleged infringement. OpenAI has yet to respond to the lawsuit.

A Texas sheriff's deputy was arrested after leaving his 2-month-old baby in a hot car for three hours, resulting in the infant being taken to the hospital in critical condition.
