A judge has set bond for Harrison Floyd, the only defendant in the Georgia election interference case to be jailed after surrendering to Fulton County authorities last Thursday. According to court papers filed in Fulton County Superior Court, Judge Scott McAfee set Floyd’s bond at $100,000 total, with $40,000 for his racketeering charge, $30,000 for a charge of influencing witnesses and another $30,000 for a charge of conspiring to commit solicitation of false statements and writings.

Floyd, the former leader of Black Voices for Trump, has been jailed since he surrendered Thursday. He is one of 18 co-defendants charged in connection with efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.

Judge McAfee initially told Floyd he was a potential flight risk, but after negotiations, he set the bond at $100,000. Floyd is accused of attempting to influence witnesses and conspiring to solicit false statements and writings.

The other 17 defendants in the case have not been jailed and have not been required to post bond. All 18 defendants are facing charges of racketeering, influencing witnesses and conspiring to commit solicitation of false statements and writings.
