The Buffalo Bills have announced that safety Damar Hamlin has been cleared to resume full football activities. Hamlin, 25, went into cardiac arrest during the first quarter of the Bills’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals on January 2.
General Manager Brandon Beane told reporters on Tuesday that Hamlin had seen three separate specialists over the offseason, who all agreed that the player “is clear to resume full activities just like anyone else who was coming back from an injury.”
Beane added that Hamlin is in a “great headspace” to make his return and is currently at the Bills’ practice facility participating in voluntary offseason workouts.
