Five inmates who escaped from a Missouri jail earlier this week have been recaptured, the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department confirmed Saturday.

The five inmates, Kelly McSean, Dakota Pace, Aaron Sebastian, LuJuan Tucker and Michael Wilkins, escaped from the St. Francois County Detention Center in Farmington on Tuesday evening. According to the sheriff’s department, the inmates ascended to the jail’s rooftop through vents and plumbing, and then made their way to the ground, where they stole a 2009 Scion and headed south.

Four of the five inmates were captured in Ohio, while Wilkins was caught in Missouri. One of the inmates was captured about 70 miles south of the facility on Friday.

The sheriff’s department thanked the public for their assistance in the search, and said that the five inmates were all in custody as of Saturday morning. No further information has been released at this time.
