The body of a missing woman from McKinney, Texas, has been found in a field in Grand Prairie, the Collin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Thursday. The body has been identified as 33-year-old Kayla Kelley.

Kelley had been reported missing on April 17th after she threatened to tell the wife of the man she was dating that he was having an affair. Her empty car was later found in a remote area.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office said the cause of death is still pending. The Collin County Sheriff’s Office is now working with the county district attorney on additional charges.

Ocastor Ferguson, 32, was arrested Saturday on a kidnapping charge and is being held in lieu of $1.5 million bond on kidnapping and arson warrants. The arson charge stems from Kelley’s vehicle.

The Collin County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about Kelley’s death to contact them. They are also asking anyone who may have seen Kelley or her vehicle in the days leading up to her disappearance to come forward.
