Wood cited the ongoing search for a new lead figure to replace Trevor Noah as a reason for his decision. Wood has been a popular figure on the show and has also appeared on other programs such as "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "Conan". His next move is yet to be seen, but it is sure to be an exciting one.
