U.S. Marshals and Lake County Sheriff’s Office Arrest 16-Year-Old in Connection with Shooting Deaths of Three Teens in Central Florida

U.S. Marshals and the Lake County Sheriff's Office have arrested 16-year-old Tahj Brewton in connection with the shooting deaths of three teenagers in Central Florida. Brewton was taken into custody on Saturday in Groveland, Florida and was wanted on outstanding warrants for carjacking with a firearm, aggravated assault, grand theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing or attempt to elude a law enforcement officer, and tampering with an electronic monitoring device. The Marion County Sheriff's Office had offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to Brewton's capture.

USMS Confirms Security Breach, Affecting Law Enforcement Sensitive Information and Personally Identifiable Information

Two Suspects Arrested in Central California Massacre, Investigation Ongoing

Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux announced the arrest of two suspects in the massacre of six people last month. Noah David Beard, 25, was taken into custody without incident, while Angel “Nanu” Uriarte, 35, was wounded in a shootout with federal agents. Boudreaux said the motive for the shooting is not clear, but the arrests were the result of a collaborative effort between multiple agencies. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the sheriff’s office.
