President Joe Biden has arrived in the United Kingdom for the first stop of his three-nation European tour. During his visit, he will meet with King Charles III and Prime Minister Boris Johnson to discuss the war in Ukraine and the U.S.'s moral obligation to provide Ukraine with the necessary resources to protect itself. Biden will then travel to Geneva, Switzerland to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to make it clear that the U.S. will not stand idly by in the face of Russian aggression.

President Biden Visits Europe to Strengthen NATO Alliance and Unify Voice in Support of Ukraine

President Joe Biden is in Europe this week for the NATO summit in Lithuania, and has already held a meeting with U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. The U.S. and its NATO allies are looking to maintain a unified voice in support of Ukraine, and Biden will also meet with King Charles III to discuss the war and revise plans for dealing with Russian aggression. The trip will conclude in Helsinki, Finland, where Biden will celebrate the expanding alliance with Finland as the newest member of NATO.

Madonna Hospitalized with Serious Bacterial Infection, Delaying Upcoming Tour

Pop star Madonna, 64, has been hospitalized for a "serious bacterial infection" and has had to delay her upcoming The Celebration Tour. Her manager Guy Oseary announced the news on Wednesday, saying that all commitments must be paused until Madonna makes a full recovery. Details on the type of infection and how long her recovery is expected to take are not yet available, but fans are wishing her a speedy recovery.

Russia Reportedly Training Combat Dolphins in Occupied Crimea to Counter Ukrainian Forces

The British military has reported that Russia is training combat dolphins in the annexed Crimean peninsula to counter Ukrainian forces, investing heavily in security at the Black Sea Fleet's main base at Sevastopol. Imagery shows a near doubling of floating mammal pens in the harbor which likely contain bottle-nosed dolphins, and the animals are "highly likely intended to counter enemy divers." It is unclear how effective the dolphins will be, but it is clear that Russia is investing heavily in its defences.
