Colorado Rockies Pitcher Ryan Feltner Suffers Skull Fracture and Concussion After Being Hit in the Head by Line Drive

Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Ryan Feltner was injured in the second inning of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies after being hit in the head by a line drive. Manager Bud Black said Feltner has a skull fracture and concussion, but is overall "fine". He has been placed on the 15-day injured list and the Rockies have not yet announced a replacement for Feltner in the starting rotation. This is the second time this season that Feltner has been injured, and he has a 3-4 record with a 5.48 ERA in 11 starts this season.
