University of Idaho to Demolish House Where Four College Students Were Murdered in November

The University of Idaho has announced that the house where four college students were murdered in November will be demolished, given to the school by the owner. Scott Green, the university’s president, said in a statement that the demolition of the house is a “healing step” and the university is planning to hold a memorial service for the victims in the coming weeks. The university has not yet announced what will be done with the property once the house is demolished.

US intelligence officials are assessing whether the suspected Chinese spy balloon, which crossed into US airspace, was diverted off course by strong winds or deliberately maneuvered by the Chinese government. The National People’s Congress’s Foreign Affairs Committee has accused American lawmakers of trampling on the sovereignty of other nations in response to the US's condemnation of the balloon's intrusion. The balloon's unexpected route, which went north and reentered the US through northern Idaho, is being investigated.

Police Charge Bryan Kohberger with Murders of Four College Students in Moscow, Idaho

Four college students were found dead in an off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho, on Tuesday, and police have now charged Bryan Kohberger with the murders. A search warrant has revealed that police gathered a significant amount of blood evidence from the victims, as well as a reddish-brown stained pillowcase, hair strands, and a nitrite-type black glove from Kohberger's apartment. Additionally, an animal hair was found during the search of Kohberger's apartment, which could be used to help build the case against him.

Washington court has unsealed search warrant documents related to the investigation of Bryan Kohberger, the 28-year-old accused of killing four University of Idaho students. The documents revealed the items seized from Kohberger's apartment, including a stained mattress cover, a computer tower, and a pillow with a "reddish/brown stain". Kohberger faces four counts of first-degree murder and the investigation is ongoing.
