Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Removes Jann Wenner from Board of Directors Following Controversial Comments

Jann Wenner, co-founder of Rolling Stone magazine and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, has been removed from the Hall of Fame's Board of Directors following comments he made that were seen as disparaging towards Black and female musicians. The Hall of Fame released a statement saying they are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all music fans and will not tolerate any form of discrimination or bigotry. They have yet to announce who will replace Wenner on the Board of Directors.

Tim McCarver, Legendary Baseball Player and Broadcaster, Passes Away at Age 79

Tim McCarver, a legendary baseball player and broadcaster, passed away on Thursday morning in Memphis, Tennessee. He had a 60-year career in baseball, during which he won two World Series titles and became a well-known and respected commentator. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012 and was the recipient of the Ford C. Frick Award. His passion for the game and his connection with fans will be remembered forever.
