Five people have died and five more were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck carrying anhydrous ammonia in south central Illinois on Friday night. The semi-truck rolled over in a ditch, causing a toxic leak estimated to be 4,000 gallons. The cause of the crash is still under investigation and residents are being urged to avoid the area until the leak is fully contained.
