EPA Administrator Michael Regan and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine Announce Special Clinic and Enforcement Action in Response to East Palestine Train Derailment

The Ohio Department of Health and the Columbiana County Health Department have opened a special clinic in East Palestine, Ohio, in response to the Feb. 3 train derailment of a Norfolk Southern train carrying toxic chemicals. The EPA has also announced an enforcement action against Norfolk Southern, and Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has stated that the company will be held accountable for any health issues that arise. The clinic will remain open until the EPA has completed its cleanup and the area is deemed safe.

NewsNation Correspondent Arrested During Press Conference Attended by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine

Footage shows the reporter being told to stop delivering a live report during the governor's remarks, and the Ohio National Guard's adjutant general pushing the reporter during an argument. The incident has sparked criticism from media organizations and civil rights groups, who argue that the arrest was an infringement on the freedom of the press.
