Search Continues for 9-Month-Old Baby Swept Away in Pennsylvania Flash Flood

Pennsylvania authorities are continuing their search for a 9-month-old baby who was swept away in a flash flood last weekend, after the body of his 2-year-old sister was recovered from the Delaware River on Friday. Hundreds of people, including search and rescue teams, have been involved in the search, aided by K-9s, sonar, drones, boats, divers, heavy equipment, GPS mapping and air units. The police department has asked for the public's help in the search for Conrad and are asking anyone with information to contact them.

On Friday, authorities believe they have found the body of 2-year-old Matilda Sheils, who was swept away in flash flooding last weekend in Philadelphia. The body was found in the Delaware River near the city’s wastewater treatment plant and the search for her 9-month-old brother, Conrad, is still ongoing. Upper Makefield Police Chief Kenneth Coluzzi expressed his condolences to the Sheils family and all those affected by the tragedy.

Philadelphia Residents Reassured to Drink Tap Water After Chemical Spill in Delaware River Tributary

After a chemical spill in a Delaware River tributary on Friday night, the Philadelphia Water Department has announced that tap water from the Baxter plant will remain safe to drink through Monday, March 27. The PWD noted that the spill was not related to the Baxter plant, and that the plant was operating normally. The PWD is continuing to monitor the situation and will provide updates if necessary.

Philadelphia Residents Urged to Use Bottled Water Following Chemical Spill in Delaware River

Philadelphia is recommending that residents use bottled drinking water due to a chemical spill in the Delaware River, causing a rush on bottled water at a ShopRite store in South Philadelphia. The City is continuing to monitor the situation and will provide updates as they become available, advising residents to use bottled water until further notice.
