Ren Zhiqiang, a renowned real estate tycoon in China, has been missing for 10 days. His company, China Renaissance Holdings, has now released a statement that its missing chairman and star dealmaker Bao Fan is currently cooperating with relevant Chinese authorities conducting an investigation. The company has also stated that its business and operations are continuing normally and that it will cooperate with any lawful requests from the relevant PRC authorities.

On Monday, a magnitude 6.3 aftershock struck the Syria-Turkey border, causing panic and damaging buildings in the nearby city of Antakya. Indian police have blocked students from entering a university in Delhi to prevent them from screening a BBC documentary about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has been banned in the country. The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) has vowed to fight for the right to show the documentary and to challenge the government's decision, while students and activists have accused the government of trying to stifle free speech.
