China Renaissance Holdings Releases Statement on Missing Chairman Ren Zhiqiang’s Whereabouts

Ren Zhiqiang, a renowned real estate tycoon in China, has been missing for 10 days. His company, China Renaissance Holdings, has now released a statement that its missing chairman and star dealmaker Bao Fan is currently cooperating with relevant Chinese authorities conducting an investigation. The company has also stated that its business and operations are continuing normally and that it will cooperate with any lawful requests from the relevant PRC authorities.

Aftershock of Magnitude 6.3 Strikes Syria-Turkey Border, Killing Three and Injuring Eight

On Monday, a magnitude 6.3 aftershock struck the Syria-Turkey border, causing panic and damaging buildings in the nearby city of Antakya. Eight people were injured and three people were killed, according to Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay. The aftershock comes two weeks after a magnitude 7.2 earthquake killed 46,000 people and injured more than 1,000 in the same region.
