Maine Law Enforcement Officers Continue Search for Suspected Mass Shooter Robert Card

Law enforcement officers in Lewiston, Maine are searching for Robert Card, the suspected perpetrator of a massacre that left 18 people dead. Maine Public Safety Commissioner Mike Sauschuck has announced regular 10 a.m. media briefings and the deployment of divers to the area near the boat ramp to check for evidence. Dozens of local, county, state and federal law enforcement officials are using sonar, helicopters, and dams in the search, and are asking anyone with information to contact the Lewiston Police Department.

Hundreds of police officers and FBI agents, as well as federal marshals and personnel from other agencies, are actively searching for Robert Card, the suspect in the mass shootings that killed 18 people and injured 13 in Lewiston, Maine. Commissioner Michael Sauschuck of the Maine Dept. of Public Safety refused to comment on whether law enforcement had been warned about the suspect prior to the shootings. The search continues as law enforcement works to bring the suspect to justice.

Maine Law Enforcement Searching for “Armed and Dangerous” Person of Interest in Fatal Shooting at Lewiston Bar and Bowling Alley

Maine law enforcement officials are searching for Robert Card, a 40-year-old "person of interest" in the fatal shootings at a Lewiston bar and bowling alley. Michael Sauschuck, the state’s Commissioner of Public Safety, warned residents that Card should be considered armed and dangerous and urged people not to approach him. Between 15 and 20 people have been killed and 50 people were injured in the attack, and the Lewiston Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact law enforcement.
