Rex Heuermann, a Manhattan architect living in Massapequa Park, was arrested in connection with the case on Friday and placed on suicide watch. Investigators have confiscated an arsenal of nearly 300 guns, framed pictures, and a child-like doll from Heuermann's home. It is unclear who rented the two storage units.
