"Gwyneth Goes Skiing" is a dance pop and electronic musical set to debut in London this December. It is based on the civil trial between Gwyneth Paltrow and Terry Sanderson, and is produced by Awkward Productions. British police have launched an investigation into allegations of sexual offenses against comedian Russell Brand, which he denies. Reza "Ray" Baluchi, a Florida ultra-marathoner and peace activist, was arrested last week by the U.S. Coast Guard after attempting to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a homemade "human-powered hamster wheel". Baluchi had refused to get off the vessel and had threatened to harm himself or the crew when the Coast Guard attempted to board the vessel. This is reportedly the fourth time Baluchi has attempted to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a homemade vessel. The U.S. Coast Guard said they take "all maritime threats seriously" and will use all available resources to ensure the safety of life at sea.
A former British Army soldier facing terrorism charges has escaped from a London prison, prompting a massive manhunt. Daniel Abed Khalife, 21, was reported missing from Wandsworth prison and is believed to have crawled under a delivery van wearing chef's garb. He is accused of planting fake bombs at a military base and violating the Official Secrets Act. Police are conducting checks at airports and have appealed to the public for help, but no information has been released on Khalife's whereabouts.
