Residents of Ladispoli, Italy were shocked to find a lion roaming the streets on Saturday evening, but authorities were able to successfully track, sedate, and capture the animal after more than five hours. The operation involved Italy's state police, local police, the Carabinieri military police force, and local volunteers, and the lion, named Kimba, was returned to the circus unharmed. No one was hurt in the process, and the circus has not yet commented on the incident.
