On Monday morning, a vehicle crashed into a Denny's restaurant in Rosenberg, Texas, injuring 23 people. Video of the aftermath shows a red vehicle fully inside the restaurant, with the wall and windows around it demolished. The driver of the SUV was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, while the 23 injured patrons were taken to local hospitals for treatment with injuries ranging from minor cuts to severe injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.

Nearly four months after Hurricane Ian hit Florida, the body of James “Denny” Hurst, 72, has been found in a sunken sailboat off Fort Myers Beach. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office found the boat, named "Good Girl," in Matanzas Pass and said Hurst was last known to have been on board when the storm hit. He was the last known person still missing in Lee County after the Category 4 hurricane, and the Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
