Sioux City Woman Charged with 52 Counts of Voter Fraud in Connection to Iowa Congressional Primary Race

Phuong Taylor, a Sioux City woman, has been charged with 52 counts of voter fraud for allegedly filling out and casting absentee ballots in her husband's unsuccessful 2020 Republican primary race for Iowa's 4th Congressional District. Taylor is accused of committing the fraud during both the primary and general elections, specifically targeting people in Sioux City's Vietnamese community who had limited ability to read and understand English. If convicted, Taylor could face up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
