His campaign has argued that the ban has "dramatically distorted and inhibited the public discourse." Meta's expert-led oversight board has criticized the ban, and Trump has access to his Twitter account again. It is yet to be seen if Meta will accept Trump's request and what terms and conditions will be attached.

The National Archives and the Justice Department are investigating the discovery of classified documents at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, an office where President Joe Biden spent time after eight years in the Obama administration. Approximately 10 documents marked classified were found at the Biden residence in Wilmington, Del., including top-secret material, and another 10 were found at the office. The investigation is ongoing to determine how the documents ended up in the office and why they were not removed prior to the president’s departure.
