President Biden Discusses Progress on U.S. Objectives with China and Return of Hostages Held by Hamas

At his press conference following a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, President Biden discussed progress on key U.S. objectives with China, as well as the return of hostages held by Hamas. He expressed his hope for clear understanding between the two countries, and said he was "mildly hopeful" about the hostages' return. He also assured that he is doing everything he can for their return, and is confident in the intelligence that Hamas is operating a command center under the Al-Shifa hospital.

Manchester United Mourns the Loss of Football Legend Sir Bobby Charlton

Sir Bobby Charlton, an English soccer icon and member of the 1966 World Cup-winning team, passed away at the age of 86. He was the leading scorer for both Manchester United and England for over 40 years and survived the Munich air disaster in 1958. His career was marked by sportsmanship, integrity, and outstanding football qualities, and he was remembered by Manchester United as a hero to millions. Geoff Hurst is now the only living member of the 1966 England team, and Charlton's family released a statement saying he died surrounded by his family.
