House Speaker Kevin McCarthy Grants Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Exclusive Access to Capitol Security Footage, Raising Questions About Security and Safety

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has granted Fox News host Tucker Carlson exclusive access to 40,000-plus hours of security footage from the Capitol building, prompting concern from Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) who called it a "reckless move" and a threat to the security of the building and its occupants. Carlson has already declared the footage confirms his prior view that the horde of Donald Trump supporters acted peaceably on Jan. 6, 2021, to which Warren responded, "But that's pretty much par for the course for Tucker Carlson."

Judy Heumann, “Mother of the Disability Rights Movement”, Passes Away at Age 75

Judy Heumann, a renowned disability rights leader and activist, passed away on Saturday at the age of 75. She was known for her instrumental work in pushing for historic legislation, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Rehabilitation Act. Heumann was a vocal advocate for the rights of disabled people and was a recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2020. Her legacy will live on in the lives of disabled people who have benefited from her tireless advocacy and activism.
