A powerful storm system swept through the Gulf Coast on Tuesday, bringing with it a tornado that caused significant damage in Pasadena, a city southeast of Houston. Commercial buildings, homes, and power lines were damaged, and several vehicles were flipped over or otherwise damaged. Utility poles and power lines were downed, leaving many without power, and emergency crews were dispatched to the area to assess the damage and help those affected.
