Thurston County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Suspicious Disappearance of Married Couple

The Thurston County Sheriff's Office in Washington state is searching for a married couple who mysteriously disappeared this week in suspicious circumstances. Karen A. Koep and Davido were reported missing after a welfare check at their home, and their car, a 2014 white Toyota Corolla, is also missing. The sheriff's office is asking anyone with information about the couple's whereabouts to contact them.

Two Longtime Flight Attendants File Discrimination Lawsuit Against United Airlines Alleging Request from Los Angeles Dodgers Was Denied Due to Race and Ethnicity

Two longtime flight attendants for United Airlines have filed a lawsuit against the company, alleging discrimination based on a request from the Los Angeles Dodgers. The lawsuit claims that United Airlines removed minority female flight attendants from Dodgers charter flights, replacing them with “young White thin women”, and seeks damages for the two flight attendants, as well as a court order to stop United Airlines from engaging in discriminatory practices. United Airlines has not yet commented on the lawsuit, but has previously stated that it is committed to providing equal opportunities for all employees and does not tolerate discrimination of any kind.

Detroit Community Mourns the Loss of Beloved Leader Samantha Woll

On October 24, family and friends of Samantha Woll gathered to pay their respects at her funeral service. Detroit Police Chief James White has stated that the evidence suggests that Woll's murder was not motivated by antisemitism, and the motive of the slaying is still unknown. Woll was remembered as a passionate advocate for social justice and beloved member of the Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue.

Detroit Police Department: No Evidence to Suggest Fatal Stabbing of Synagogue Board President Was Motivated by Antisemitism

The Detroit Police Department released a statement on Sunday that there is no evidence to suggest that the fatal stabbing of Samantha Woll, the board president of Detroit's Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue, was motivated by antisemitism. Chief White said that the investigation is ongoing and that the DPD and FBI are working together to find out what happened. Funeral services for Woll were held Sunday afternoon and the DPD is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them.

Israeli Prime Minister and Opposition Leader Unite to Form War-Time Cabinet in Response to Hamas Attack

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition leader Benny Gantz have formed a war-time Cabinet to oversee the fight against Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip. The Cabinet is a sign of unity between the two sides and the Israeli military is preparing for a possible ground offensive. The situation in Gaza is dire as Israeli bombardment has destroyed neighborhoods and the only power plant has run out of fuel.
